This listing is for a Rainbow Fluorite crystal standing point tower. Your crystal will be intuitively chosen just for you and will measure between 2.7" - 3.1" (7cm - 8cm). Each crystal is beautiful and unique!
The beautiful rainbow colors of Fluorite! Fluorite coming in a multitude of colors with purple, green, blue and clear being the most common. The name Fluorite comes from the Latin word "fluere" which means "to flow". This name was given because Fluorite was often used as a flux in smelting metallic ores because it is very easy to melt.
Interesting Fluorite Facts:
- Fluorite is often called "The Genius Stone" because it is said to amplify, focus, open and expand the mind creating new pathways for knowledge.
- Fluorite is used as an alternate birthstone for February
- Fluorite Exhibits two interesting physical properties. The first is "fluorescence" where the stone will glow under a black light. The other is "thermoluminescence" which is where the stone will glow when heat is applied. Please note! The thermoluminescence is a one-time thing. If you heat your Fluorite to see this property the glow will fade and your specimen will never look the same!
