This listing is for a 2" strand of mini Herkimer Diamond drilled beads. Size range 1mm to 2mm. Approximate Herkimer count is 34 to 36 drilled crystals. (Please note the size as they are very small).

Herkimer diamonds are double terminated quartz crystals usually only found in a small area of Herkimer County, New York. A double terminated crystal has points on both ends instead of just one end (very similar to a real diamond). These special crystals were first discovered in the early 1800's by settlers in New York and were named Herkimer diamonds due to their diamond-like shape. They are known for being very bright and incredibly clear, although they can also come in other rare formation and colors.
Metaphysically, Herkimer Diamonds are said to relieve tension and induce a relaxing calming feeling. Working with Herkimer Diamonds are said to bring visions and an increase in psychic experiences and are very good for meditation work. They help to clear the mind/body of unconscious fears and repressions allowing for complete and total relaxation and expansion of life energy.
